About
I am a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist dedicated to helping teens, adults, and families understand and manage their challenges. With a focus on personal experiences, values, and strengths, I offer tailored treatment experiences aimed at fostering healing and growth. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other life stressors, I provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions.
Areas of Expertise
-
Mindfulness-Based Therapies: Incorporate mindfulness practices, like meditation and mindful breathing, to help you increase awareness, reduce stress, and cultivate acceptance of your thoughts and emotions.
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): An approach that focuses on your thinking patterns and how they affect your behavior and emotions. I have extensive experience helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns using this model. CBT is ideal for individuals who want a more time-limited and evidence-based approach to their therapy needs.
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): A form of psychotherapy that teach you how to regulate your emotions, communicate effectively, and manage stress. I will work with you to develop and implement skills you need to live a more balanced life. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues, DBT can help you gain the tools you need to cope and thrive.
-
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT): Targets interpersonal problems and focuses on improving communication and relationship skills. Whether you’re dealing with difficult relationships, communication challenges, or other interpersonal problems, I’m here to help.
-
Couples/Family Therapy: Involves working with families or couples to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships. Family therapy can provide a safe and supportive environment for you and your loved ones to air concerns, address parent-child conflicts and marital problems and improve communication. Together, we'll work to create healthier dynamics and strengthen your relationships.
